The Kidde i9010 is a 10-year sealed battery-operated smoke alarm with Hush, Alarm Memory, and a self-activation mechanism that facilitates straightforward installation. Three Kidde 10 Year Lithium Battery Alarms are included in this kit, conveniently packaged in an openable box. When the alarm is fastened to the mounting bracket, it will go off automatically; there are no pull-tabs or switches involved; everything is automatic. The i9010 device will be powered for its entire 10-year lifespan by the sealed-in board-mounted battery. The alarm will never require a new battery, and an End of Life alert lets you know when it's time to replace it. Deactivating the alarm at the conclusion of its ten-year lifespan is as simple. Deactivating a switch requires the use of a tiny screwdriver.
