Description
An ionization smoke alarm with AC/DC power and a 9V battery backup, the Kidde i4618 runs on a 120V power supply. Four alarms, mounting brackets, batteries, and wiring harness are all included in the contractor box. Ionization sensing technology is used in this alarm. Compared to photoelectric alarms, ionization sensing alarms may be able to identify unseen fire particles (related to blazing flames) earlier. Ionization alarms may not be as quick to pick up visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) as photoelectric detecting alarms.Battery replacement is simple and practical thanks to the front-loading battery door, which enables users to swap out the battery without removing the alarm from its mounting bracket. This smoke alarm is offered in both a 6-piece bulk pack for contractors and property owners and a 6-piece cut case with tray for convenient display.
