The Multi-Cutter is designed for optimal cutting efficiency and features a self-sharpening blade, 300 RPM, and a 1/4 In. material cutting capacity. A compact, ergonomic design with a lock-on lever built in helps prevent the tool from accidently engaging, among other convenience features. With a 12-Volt max CXT Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah battery (available separately), it only weighs 1.6 lbs. The 12-Volt max CXT Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah battery (BL1041B) is also compatible with 12-Volt max CXT cordless tools for longer operating times. Battery Protection Circuits are included into 12-Volt max CXT Lithium-Ion batteries to guard against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. It is a member of the growing 12-Volt max CXT line and combines excellent performance with ergonomic excellence.
